My classes have a laid-back, energetic and open vibe, where we move with ease and enjoyment. I have trained in a variety of styles including; flow, kundalini, restorative and Strala and I aim to bring different elements to our classes to keep things fresh and interesting. If you are new to yoga – don’t worry about anyone else, this is your yoga journey and I will help you take the first steps to a more relaxed, strong and flexible you. If you already have some yoga experience, why not try a different style of class with us and expand your practice.

I’m qualified to teach hatha flow, yin, kundalini & restorative yoga and I do like to mix it up a bit. I like to have fun and my classes reflect this. In class we will work on bringing the body, mind and breathing together as this is where the magic happens. So come and get your yoga on with me and you can expect to use your body fully and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Don’t worry if you are new to yoga as it isn’t about cutting the perfect shape, being really bendy or looking great in lycra. The focus of my yoga class is you and your progression and it really doesn’t matter where this journey starts.

Yoga to me is not just a stretching class. We must embrace the essence of yoga through all of its teachings. It is about rediscovering who we are, how we feel and learning to love ourselves. Yoga creates flexibility not only through the movement of the body but also through the mind. I like to adapt my classes so they are suitable for everyone to come and practice and enjoy an hour focusing on themselves. The focus in my classes is to listen to your own body and go to where you are at in that moment. Nothing else matters more than you.

I am qualified Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in, and instructor of, Aikido – a soft Japanese martial art.  I have 20 years’ experience in Asian wisdom practices such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Meditation and Shiatsu.

Initially, I practised strong physical styles of yoga such as Ashtanga Vinyassa Flow, but over time came to see the benefit of slower more meditative practice and gained a wider appreciation of the full  benefits of yoga.

I believes that yoga is suitable for everybody and every-body.  That it will get you fitter, healthier and happier.  I teach an open, relaxed and inclusive style and I’m keen to bring yoga, and its wide range of benefits, to parts of the population that traditionally avoid it.
